Our story
The Israeli Arabic Center was founded out of the passion to connect between people through the Arabic language and culture, for the purpose of communication, commerce, friendship, tourism and peace, emanating from love to the language, the culture, the customs and people. out of love for the language, culture, customs and people.
The connection is established via practical knowledge acquired in classes, experiential courses and workshops, as well as lectures and tours; all provide the students with knowledge and tools to get acquainted and familiarize with the cultures.
Those who chose to join the center – teachers, students and partners – become جُزْء لَا يَتَجَزَّأ, an inseparable part of the big picture and create a reality of communication that brings people together on the way to their goal.

Study Language and Culture for Effective Communication
The Israeli Arabic Center was established out of love for people, love of the language, and the basic need to communicate, connect and bring people together.
Our center grows and prospers because it attracts people that realize the above through studies and since we live in a mixed society, where Hebrew speakers live alongside Arabic speakers, and both languages are spoken at work, on the street, at pharmacies, supermarkets – basically everywhere.
Our center was founded out of the need and desire to understand and communicate with people around us in their own language.

Why Us?
We aim to reach both the head and the heart of the language speakers, and the best way to do it is speaking in their mother tongue, familiarizing with the culture, the customs and the greetings. We believe there is no better way to communicate, for any purpose – be it relationship, commerce, friendship or peace.
We are fully committed to the process, while providing the tools that enable our students to reach the goals they set in the shortest way and at the highest level. Experience taught us that the combination of sincerity, hard work, devotion and effective learning delivers the desired results.
Our Method
Our way of teaching the Arabic language is based on a proven and effective method, that was developed based on over 30 years of practical experience.
The contents are delivered while establishing sound foundation, using extensive useful vocabulary alongside specific needs, such as: commerce, business, organizations, etc.
We always integrate – at all stages, our method connects between the material studied and “real life” in a natural and authentic manner, via songs, games, videos, familiarizing with the language, the manners and customs – while authentically integrating it with whatever is happening at class and issues raised by students, as an additional enjoyable way to learn.
Therefore, every class is both structured, clear, advancing and systematic in teaching the language, while integrating spontaneous intuitive learning, based on topics the students bring up. Professional content, relevancy and pleasure are all integrated into a fun and effective way of learning.

First and foremost, our courses are aimed at bringing the students with the success, as defined by them.

Since COVID-19 stormed the world, we developed new options for learning and our experience shows that you can easily learn how to communicate in Arabic even when people, countries and opportunities are overseas.
Our Founder – Idit (Harel) Sasson
Idit has over 30-years’ experience in teaching Arabic at institutions, organizations, private groups, private lessons, playing major role in initiating complex processes in teaching Arabic at both the private and public sectors, while working with people when the youngest was 9 years old and the oldest (as of today) is 70. She taught and delivered thousands of hours with hundreds of students from all aspects of society, gathering the experience for establishing schools for teaching Arabic, founding the official Arabic course at the Israeli Police, training Arabic teachers at the Jerusalem district, and serving as National Head Supervisor on behalf of the Ministry of Education.
One thing she learned was that the winning combination in teaching Arabic is:

This is the reason for the path we take at the Israeli Arabic Center, of systematic teaching alongside adjustment of parts of the class to the people in it and the group in general.
